‘Butcher’s Dog’ Guest Editor Opportunity plus Submissions Open

‘Butcher’s Dog’, a biannual poetry magazine based in the North of England, is looking for a guest editor for its 5th issue. The following is copied and pasted from the ‘Butcher’s Dog’ newsletter:
This is an excellent opportunity for poets interested in developing their editorial skills and gaining first-hand experience of putting together a poetry magazine. If you’re a talented and experienced poet (or a like-minded organisation) we’d love you to hear from you. Experience of editing a poetry magazine is not essential but a passion for contemporary poetry is. You’ll be paired with Andrew Sclater (co-editor of BD2) & Amy Mackelden (co-editor of BD3), who will guide you through our editorial process.
If this sounds like the sort of thing you fancy, email degna@butchersdogmagazine.com for more information on how to apply. Deadline: 1 January 2015.

There is no set theme, we just want you to send us your best work.
If you haven’t read Butcher’s Dog yet, we strongly recommend that you do before submitting. If you like what you read, chances are we’ll like your poems too. Visit our website for submission guidelines. Deadline for submissions: 15 February 2015.
