Sonnet Competition
The publishers of the Writers’ and Artists’ Yearbook – in association with The Arden Shakespeare and The Royal Society of Literature – are running a free-to-enter sonnet competition to mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death. Choose one of the bard’s sonnets and pen your own response, also in sonnet form.The deadline is midnight on Monday 31st May 2016. It looks as though this is also open to poets based outside the UK.
