‘Butcher’s Dog’, a biannual poetry magazine based in the North of England, is looking for a guest editor for its 5th issue. The following is copied and pasted from the ‘Butcher’s Dog’ newsletter:
This is an excellent opportunity for poets interested in developing their editorial skills and gaining first-hand experience of putting together a poetry magazine. If you’re a talented and experienced poet (or a like-minded organisation) we’d love you to hear from you. Experience of editing a poetry magazine is not essential but a passion for contemporary poetry is. You’ll be paired with Andrew Sclater (co-editor of BD2) & Amy Mackelden (co-editor of BD3), who will guide you through our editorial process.
If this sounds like the sort of thing you fancy, email degna@butchersdogmagazine.com for more information on how to apply. Deadline: 1 January 2015.
