Act quickly: deadline is 23:59 BST on 19 June 2020! Write Out Loud poetry organisation has secured Andrew McMillan as the judge for its competition to raise funds for the NHS (National Health Service). Poems should be about the lockdown and beyond. From website: “We intend the competition anthology to act as a valuable poetic record of what must be the strangest period in all of our lives to this point, and record our hopes for a better future, beyond the storm.” Rules/guidelines here.
Poems (and other writings) are invited from anywhere in the world, and from all ages, for the above anthology. The editor is UK Writing Magazine contributor, Jan Moran Neil. Closing date is 30 September 2020, though this date is subject to change. Profits will go to Rennie Grove Hospice Care. Please check out full info here.
