US indie press Soft Skull is open to unagented full-manuscript submissions in a variety of genres including poetry until 20 July 2021. From the website: “We are primarily seeking and strongly encouraging submissions from BIPOC writers and underrepresented voices of any race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, class, and physical or mental ability.” Full info here.
Bad Betty Press is an independent UK poetry publisher, funded by the Arts Council. They are currently looking for full poetry pamphlets and collections. Send up to 10 pages of a completed poetry manuscript to be considered for publication in 2021. Deadline is 31 January 2020. Full details here.
Exciting news: Liverpool University Press is inviting submissions of first full collections (i.e. collections from poets who have not yet had a full collection published) to its Pavilion Poetry series. I asked via Twitter about the quantity of poems to submit and was told ‘as long as it’s above 48 pages, we’d love to see it’. Get your submission in by 31 January 2017. Visit the website for full details of what to send (paper submissions only).
