You have until 31 July 2019 to send your “possibility” (their preferred word for a submission) to this small press. Send 26 pages, following the guidelines.
UK-based indie press Nine Arches Press will be open for submissions of full poetry collections between 1 and 30 November 2017. Full information here. Unfortunately, the editors prefer it if poets submit initially to the magazine, Under the Radar. However, they will be not be open for submissions to the magazine until 1 December (open until 31 December) 2017. If you are submitting a full collection, read the submissions criteria carefully.
Send at least five suitably surrealist poems (also open to prose/photography/etc. – see below). No payment, but a free print copy – always a good sign 🙂
Copied from the website:
What we are looking for: Poetry / Prose / Short Stories / B&W art / Photography that embraces surrealism & the beauty of language.
It is that simple. It is that complicated.
What we are not looking for: parodies of surrealism and the intentionally comic.
For further ideas of the work we publish consider reading an issue of Fur-Lined Ghettos – our poetry magazine.
Submissions should be sent as an .rtf or .doc file, along with a bio and brief covering letter to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please include ‘STARFISH’ in the subject header.
For poetry submissions please send no less than five pieces.
For prose / short stories max. 6000 words.
For art / photography we would prefer to view online where possible, otherwise query.
We will consider previously published work but please state where & when published.
We aim to respond within four months.
Payment: As a fledgling press, current payment is one print copy of the anthology.
Just seen that there is a fee to submit your pamphlet to this one (although it is free if the Press has published one of your poems). Small indie publisher The Emma Press has a call-out for poetry pamphlets – but submit soon as the deadline is 31st August 2014. The Emma Press’s usual conditions apply – you must either have bought a copy of an Emma press book/ebook in the past calendar year, or you must have had a poem published in an Emma Press book. http://theemmapress.com/
